each face is portraying an emotion, not just an expression....look deep into the eyes and you might feel it....6 paintings that will ultimately be 9....but i've stopped for now...

this is my first series in silk, and the first 6 are almost finish.....the last 3 are not yet started....i don't know why i have a fascination with faces....i did two what i call primitive faces a few years back....but these are more modern, more surreal....and more bold...there might be more to say when the series is finished, but in a nutshell working with silk is like a dream come true...and painting faces, the illusion of emotion, IS the dream....
